I have had a lifelong passion, some may say obsession, with all
things canine. I started helping, and working for experience at a local groom shop when I was a teenager. I quickly became a skilled bather and groomers assistant. From then on I have worked professionally with animals in many different fields- pet specialty stores, boarding kennels, dog daycare facilities, groom shops, shelters, veterinary clinics, training facilities, as well as privately in my own and clients homes. As the years have
gone by this passion has turned into what my life revolves around. At
work, home, and in my spare time, I am lucky to be able to do what I
love every day!
Helping people and dogs learn,
grown, come to understand each other, and work in sync as well as
watching amazing bonds grow and develop between owners and their dogs
is something that just never gets old!
time I train and trial my own pair of amazing canine partners. We have
enjoyed learning and competing in many sports over the years and always
training hard and having a blast while doing it! In addition I try to
make it to as many seminars, education events, and expos as I can
attend. I also enjoy taking continuing education classes and workshops
as well as studying everything dog related I can. From training,
learning theory, behavior modification, canine conditioning and shaping. To nutrition,
health care, first aid, and more!
